Rene Crawford

As the Development Director my position is responsible for maintaining positive community contact and events planning that will raise money to meet the agency’s financial goals. It is my job to keep key donors happy and engaged with The Dragonfly House CAC while strategically attracting attention from potentially new supporters to host and sponsor events. I am also responsible for volunteer management, conducting facility tours, and educating new donors of our mission.

My favorite part of my job is talking with people in the community. I love to look ahead and anticipate the wants & needs of both donors and their employers, to find a mutually beneficial way to build fundraising opportunities for The Dragonfly House CAC.I like to hear about their lives and see how it connects to what we do. I want each and every supporter of ours to know that they are special, they are heroes to the staff and the children we help, and that we could not do this difficult work without them.
