336-753-6155 X117

Rene Crawford holds a BA degree in psychology from UNCC. She has dedicated her career to Victim Services, starting as a Disabilities Coordinator for Head Start, then working as a Child Protection Service Social Worker for DSS in Yadkin and Lincoln Counties. She later became a Program Supervisor for the Guardian ad Litem program in Davie, Iredell, and Alexander counties, a Victim Service Supervisor with Family Services of the Piedmont, and a Deputy Clerk of Court in Davie County. Currently, she serves as the Development Director for The Dragonfly House Children's Advocacy Center, a role she has held since 2018. In this capacity, Rene is instrumental in raising community funds through donor and supporter cultivation, retention, and contact, striving to meet set goals for community donations.

Rene is passionate about her work at The Dragonfly House CAC for two main reasons: she is deeply committed to the impactful work done at the center and loves the team, especially the Executive Director, Brandi Reagan. She takes pride in the significant difference the center makes and enjoys being a part of that success. Additionally, she cherishes the generous community in Davie and Davidson Counties, enjoying interactions with business owners and individuals, and appreciating their willingness to support the center's mission.

When not at work, Rene enjoys spending time at Lake Norman with her husband Allen, their dog Smokie, their three daughters and their spouses, and their six beloved grandchildren.
