Brandi Reagan is the Executive Director of The Dragonfly House Children’s Advocacy Center, an organization she co-founded in 2009. She has been instrumental in guiding the agency since its inception, becoming the Executive Director in July 2012. Under her leadership, The Dragonfly House became a 501c3 non-profit, achieved National Accreditation, expanded from one employee to a staff of ten, and successfully conducted a $1.1 million capital campaign for a new facility.
Brandi's educational background includes an Associates Degree in Business Administration and Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Wake Forest University School of Business. She is also a certified Trauma-Informed Practitioner in Education and a Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She has been trained in forensic interviewing and victim advocacy - providing both of those services for years prior to hiring dedicated staff in those positions.
As the Executive Director, Brandi oversees all facets of the organization's administration and management, including strategic planning, program execution, and financial management. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Children's Advocacy Centers of North Carolina and has chaired several committees, contributing to the development of child advocacy standards and evaluations.
Brandi created the W5 Mandated Reporter Training Program in collaboration with two other Children's Advocacy Centers. She is passionate about her work and has been recognized for her contributions, including being named Davie County’s “Most Inspirational Person” and receiving the “Lt. Kim Sebastian Humanitarian Award.”
Outside of work, Brandi enjoys spending time napping, running, or binge-watching the latest TV shows. She has been married for 25 years and has 6 cats, 3 dogs, and 2 kids.
