Why You Should Apply

This council was established by the Board of Directors in 2023 to operate as an advisory committee that takes an active role in helping The Dragonfly House Children’s Advocacy Center achieve agency goals and objectives. Serving on the council is a rewarding experience and an opportunity for personal and professional growth.the Services section. Briefly describe the types of services offered and highlight any special benefits or features.

Community

Help educate others about The Dragonfly House’s mission and the important work it does.

Outreach

Participate in outreach and education events that connect with the community.

Fundraising

Work on efforts that raise funds to support the center’s programs and services.

Time

Take on specific tasks and special projects assigned by the Board of Directors.

If you join the Community Action Council, you agree that you can provide at least 3-6 hours a month in attendance to meetings and/or agency events, will respond to calls and emails within 2 business days (or immediately if marked URGENT) and that you do not have any conflict-of-interest in participating on the council.
