TO CHILD VICTIMS OF ABUSE

 

The Dragonfly House Children’s Advocacy Center is a 501c3 non-profit agency that provides confidential, coordinated services to boys and girls ages birth through 17.  These services include forensic interviews, child abuse medical exams, victim advocacy and support, mental health treatment, coordinated case review services, and community outreach & education.  All of our services are free of charge and are offered to the child & their non-offending family members for the life of their case and for as long as they need afterwards.

All of our services are provided under one safe, child-friendly roof that allows for other team members to come to the child instead of the child having to go to multiple agencies and meet with multiple professionals that are each tasked with a different part of an investigation process.  This process reduces the number of times a child has to talk and reduces the amount of trauma that reliving abuse can bring, along with the trauma of a natural investigation process.
